I came up with this recipe by taking measurement ideas from different recipes to come up with my own version. It was important for me to use ingredients I liked because I wont eat or drink it if I dont like the taste. I needed it to be just the right consistency and smoothness. I serve them in a 16 oz. double-walled cup. For a smoother taste, first grind up the rolled oats.

1 cup 2% milk
1 cup cranberry-pomegranate juice
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed

Blend oats in a blender until finely ground. Add strawberries, milk, cranberry-pomegranate juice, and flax seed; blend until smooth.

Creamy Super Fruit Smoothie Reviews
I thought the addition of oats was interesting, which lead me to make this for my morning smoothie. The taste combination is good, but did not really POP And as for me, oats are just not my thing. I tried them whole which did not work , as I could not get by the lumpiness. The second time I tried this , I took the suggestion to blend the oats. Much better, but I still found the texture chalky.
